The Model 501 from Special Timer Corporation is a DPDT Repeat Cycle Timer and provides a consistent cycle with repeat accuracy to 2%. The coil is rated at 3 Watts. The contacts are rated at 10Amps -1/3HP and the life cycle is rated at 100 million mechanical operations and 100 thousand operations at rated load. The mounting is via convenient octal pin configuration and an LED indicator is optional. To specify a complete part number simply add dash numbers to our root part number as follows 501-{on/off time range}-{operating voltage}. For Example: 501-A-A implies an on/off time range from 0.25 – 10 Seconds at 120VAC.

The sequence of the 501 is as follows:

• When coil is energized:
• All contacts switch state and remain for the programmed “on” time, then
• All contacts go back to their normal state for the programmed “off” time, then
• The cycle repeats until the coil is de-energized
